The wired scanner MERTECH 2210 was designed for use at the checkout. It connects via USB-HID, USB-COM emulation, and RS-232. The device is compatible with online cash registers from Evaton, Shtrih, Atol, Mercury, and other brands. The color of the outer panels is white.
MERTECH 2210 — next-generation device
The two-dimensional barcode reader model 2210 belongs to the new MARK2 generation. The new version features improved SUPERLEAD technology, the addition of Antireflect glare suppression technology, and Vibrocheck feedback.
The new models outperform the previous generation in many characteristics:
- Accurate scanning of codes from reflective surfaces.
- Increased distance for reading labels.
- Extended scanning coverage area.
- Recognition of small or very large labels.
- Contrasting and bright aiming target.
- Vibration feedback for use in noisy environments.
All devices from the MARK2 generation meet the requirements of CRPT and FGIS/EGAIS. The wired scanner can be used for selling marked products and alcoholic beverages. New devices have been added to the list of recommended devices from 1C.
Wired model specifications
The outer panels of the housing are made of plastic and polycarbonate. The ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the hand. The panels protect the electronics in the event of multiple falls from a height of 150 cm.

You can also purchase a stand for use at the checkout. When the device is mounted on the stand, the "Hands-Free" function is activated. While this function is active, the scanning module recognizes all labels that fall within the coverage area.
