The UHF terminal MERTECH Seuic UM3 extends the functionality of smartphones or PDAs. It allows for scanning barcodes and recognizing RFID tags. To use the mobile device as a data collection terminal, it must be mounted on a holder and synchronized via NFC.

Scanning Capabilities

The UHF terminal can read RFID tags at ultra-high frequency. Scanning can be performed even in open spaces. Outdoors, the scanner responds to RFID tags at distances of up to 15 meters, which is 20% more than similar models. It can recognize up to 200 radio frequency tags in one second.

The scanning module recognizes barcodes in challenging conditions:

• from dirty or crumpled labels;
• from clear or bubble wrap;
• from smartphone and tablet screens;
• from images with high pixel density.

The built-in scanner recognizes any 1D and 2D barcodes. It can be used for working with E-Mark labeling and EGAIS excise stamps, as well as for scanning QR codes.

The work process is accompanied by audio prompts in Russian. This innovative solution optimizes human-computer interaction. The device can be used for inventorying goods and material assets, as well as for checking electrical networks.

The terminal is equipped with a high-capacity battery (6400 mAh). A full charge lasts for 8 hours of uninterrupted work. Connection to the corporate network is facilitated via Bluetooth 5.0.

The device, with an IP65 protection rating, can operate in dusty warehouses, under rain, or in fog. It withstands touch from wet hands or hands soiled with oil.
