MERTECH 80 is a desktop thermal printer for printing receipts. The device is available in several modifications. They vary by the set of available interfaces. This version of the printer can connect to a cash register via RS-232, USB, RJ12, Ethernet.
Technical Specifications
The MERTECH 80 printer operates on the principle of thermal printing. The medium for information is a thermal receipt roll with a sensitive layer. When the heated thermal head touches the roll, the surface of the medium darkens.

Advantages of the Model
The MERTECH 80 receipt thermal printer can print linear and two-dimensional codes. It supports printing of linear barcodes EAN 13, EAN 8; ITF; UPC-A; UPC-E; CODEBAR; CODE 39, 93, 128. It also prints two-dimensional barcodes PDF417 and QR.
The model comes with a receipt cutter. Cutter lifespan: 2 million cuts. The thermal head can print 150 kilometers of receipts. The printer has a paper presence sensor and a lid open sensor. There are light and sound indicators for monitoring operation.
The thermal printer's memory volume: RAM 2 MB, Flash 4 MB. Included is free software for managing print templates. The device supports ASCII and GBK fonts, Encoding 47. The model has been adapted for working with EGAIS.
