How It Works

The owner of the MERTECH D-110 ANTISTOKS pen can distinguish a counterfeit banknote from a genuine one in a few seconds. The verification principle is based on the special element "I". These are invisible marks applied to ruble banknotes (and some foreign currencies).

Antistock marks are present on banknotes issued in 1998 and later. To find counterfeit banknotes, one needs to know where the invisible marks are located. The description is available in the user manual. The check takes just a few seconds. A person of any skill level can handle the task.

To check a banknote, you need to press the button on the casing. Direct the beam that appears to the area where the mark should be located. If the banknote is genuine, a symbol will appear under the beam. If this does not happen, the banknote is counterfeit (or was issued before 1998).
