The label cutter is an attachment designed for quickly cutting receipt tape. Unlike a separator, the cutter does not create sticky labels. It is intended for use with paper receipts.
What is a label cutter?
This printer accessory automatically cuts the tape into separate receipts. The result is a neat and clean cutting line. The operator does not need to cut the paper manually, allowing for faster customer service.
This attachment does not come with the basic assembly. However, it can be purchased separately. The accessory is suitable for MERTECH TLP100 thermal transfer printers.
The lifespan of the sharp surface is 2 million cuts. The blade sharpens itself during operation. However, unlike a separator, the cutter should not be used with sticky tape without a backing. If adhesive substance gets onto the blade, small particles of dust and paper fibers will start to stick to it. Over time, this may lead to a decrease in cutting quality.
