Interface cable with RS232 for scanner MERTECH 610 / MERTECH 2210

This interface cable provides two options for connecting a barcode scanner. It features a standard USB connector and an additional connector for connecting via the RS-232 protocol. The accessory is compatible with MERTECH 610 and 2210 scanners.

The RS-232 port is used to connect peripheral devices to a PC and specialized equipment. It is often found on older models of PCs. Connecting the scanner through this port allows the USB slot to be freed up for other peripheral devices. RS-232 ensures correct signal reception and transmission when the cable length is less than 15 meters.

The design of the interface cable meets safety standards. During its manufacturing, we used metal conductors and high-quality polymer materials. The polymer sheath protects the conductors from damage.

The cable sheath withstands mechanical loads, including tensile, bending, crushing, and repeated twisting forces. After the load is removed, it returns to its original shape. The level of protection is designed for using the accessory indoors. Moisture and heating of the cable, including from sunlight exposure, should be avoided.
