The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The terminal can be used for order assembly and inventory management in stores, as well as for warehouse and logistics automation.
Case Features
The design is based on user wishes. The result is a thin and lightweight data collection terminal that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the case have been reduced without compromising strength. The device can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. The case protection class is IP68.
The model is equipped with a touch LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used in direct sunlight. The model comes with an industrial-grade button keyboard.
To protect the power button from accidental presses, a bezel has been added. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, both on the left and right sides of the case. Users can choose the button that is most convenient for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks is equipped with a professional scanning module. Scanning labels is possible from a distance of up to 1 m. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes. The terminal is suitable for tracking alcohol and working with E-Mark labeling.
The scanning module can recognize scratched, dirty, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by audio and visual signals. The brightness of the front backlight in this model is reduced to lessen the strain on the operator's eyes.
Battery
The terminal operates on a powerful ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent overload protection system is included.
Advantages of the installed battery include:
- Over 800 charging cycles without capacity reduction.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- One charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design also includes a backup power battery. When replacing a depleted battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and data is retained in RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular communication up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC is implemented. For cellular communication, a microphone with dual noise suppression and high-quality speakers are included.
