The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for use indoors or outdoors. It can be used for order picking and inventory management in stores, as well as for warehouse and logistics automation.
Body Features
The design is developed based on user feedback. The result is a slim and lightweight data collection device that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the body have been reduced without compromising strength. The device withstands drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. The ingress protection rating of the body is IP68.
The model features a touch LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used in direct sunlight. The model comes equipped with an industrial button keyboard.
A bezel has been added to protect the power button from accidental presses. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, on both the left and right sides of the device. The user can choose the button that is most convenient for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks is equipped with a professional scanning module. Label scanning is possible from a distance of up to 1 m. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes. The device is suitable for tracking alcohol and working with E-Mark labeling.
The scanning module can recognize scratched, dirty, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by sound and light signals. The brightness of the front backlight in this model has been reduced to lessen the eye strain on the operator.
Battery
The device operates on a high-capacity ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent overcharge protection system is included.
Advantages of the installed battery:
- More than 800 recharge cycles without capacity loss.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- One charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing a depleted battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and data is preserved in the RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular communication up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC is implemented. For cellular communication, there is a microphone with dual noise cancellation and high-quality speakers.
