MERTECH D-20A Promatic LED – an automatic banknote detector. It checks authenticity based on 8 detections. Operations are carried out by an intelligent analysis system. The human factor does not influence the result. The probability of error is reduced to zero. The system will not miss a counterfeit or suspicious banknote.

Design Description

The detector's body is made of ABS plastic and polycarbonate. These are modern materials that have high strength. The size of the body: 160*116*73 cm. The small device can fit in the glove compartment of a car. It weighs 450 grams.

The checking speed is up to 100 banknotes per minute. 8 detections are used for analysis:

1. Infrared;
2. Ultraviolet;
3. Magnetic;
4. Optical density control;
5. Geometric control of the banknote;
6. Special element “I”;
7. Spectral characteristic;
8. Check for duplication.

The detector has a simple interface. A person of any skill level can check banknotes. If the banknote is genuine, a green indicator lights up and a soft sound is emitted. If the banknote is suspicious, a red indicator will turn on. The device emits an unpleasant and loud signal. The results are also displayed on an LED screen.
