MERTECH D-20A Promatic GREENRED is an automatic banknote detector powered by a battery. The model features PSD detection and Anti-Stox (IAS) systems. After verification, a red or green signal lights up on the display.
Advantages of this model
The small device does not take up much space on a desk. There is room for installation in the cash zone of a store, pharmacy, café, beauty salon, gas station, and other businesses. The analysis of banknotes is conducted through 8 detections:

The accuracy of automatic verification is high. This is confirmed by the results of testing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Expert Criminalistic Center. The device's design is very simple: even low-skilled staff can verify currency authenticity.
Technical specifications
The device is made of polycarbonate and plastic. The sturdy housing protects the electronics from falls from desk height. The mechanism accepts bills inserted from either side. During verification, the bills are fed in both forward and reverse directions.
Verification of banknotes is done one at a time. Analyzing a banknote takes 0.5 seconds. The detector has memory that stores results. The device only works with rubles. The firmware can be updated after new banknotes are released.
The detector runs on a high-capacity battery. One charge lasts for 9 hours of continuous operation with banknotes. A power adapter is used to charge the battery. The charged device can be taken for on-site transactions.
