The MERTECH D-20A Flash Pro LCD detector is designed to verify the authenticity of banknotes. The model incorporates the latest developments in its design. The device has been certified by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The results of the inspection showed a high score. The automatic detector is suitable for cash handling points with high or medium traffic.
Construction Description
The model ensures high speed and accuracy of verification. The influence of the human factor on the result is excluded. Detection is conducted automatically. For checking the authenticity of banknotes, the following methods are used:
- Infrared;
- Ultraviolet;
- Magnetic;
- Optical density control;
- Geometric control of the banknote;
- Special element “I”;
- Spectral characteristic;
- Check for double notes
If the detections are passed, the banknote is recognized as genuine. When at least one indicator does not match, the banknote is recognized as counterfeit. After recognizing a counterfeit, a light and sound signal is triggered, and a message appears on the screen.
There are 2 modifications of the detector available for sale: one with a built-in battery and the other powered by the mains. There is a similar model with an LED display. The screen shows information about the authenticity and denomination of the banknote, the total sum of denominations in the batch, and the direction of banknote feeding.
